Pultrusion is a continuous process for the manufacture of fixed cross-section fiber reinforced products. The term is a portable word combining the words “pull” and “extrusion”. Unlike extrusion, which pushes material, pultrusion pulls the materials. As a result of the studies of Istanbul technical university on construction technologies, MERKON answered the search for competent manufacturers for the manufacture of externally produced ultra-strength concrete columns, as a solution partner to this respected university with its experience in the concrete sector and machinery capacity.

This work, which is the only one of its kind in the world, allows fibrous materials to produce concrete products in the desired shape and size as a result of a moving mechanism. The point where the benefit of the technique is maximized in terms of the area used is the carrier columns. The increased strength thanks to its fibrous structure increases the confidence in this type of carrier column.
